TIME & ATTENTION
We keep our classes small to ensure personalized attention and plenty of time for questions and suggestions for you and your dog.
ANSWERS & ADVICE
There is always time for questions—we ask if there are questions on every topic and always provide hands-on assistance during class.
YOUR GOALS
We guide each person and their dog throughout the course, focusing on your concerns and goals. During class, we check in and monitor your progress, offering personalized advice tailored to your dog’s unique personality and needs.
TAILORED TRAINING
Discussion and topics for each class are tailored to the needs of the class. We may spend more time helping students on particular issues or skip topics that are not relevant. We’re intentional and responsive to the people and dogs in class.
PRACTICE FOR REAL LIFE
Dogs will naturally be distracted by other dogs and people, and that’s completely normal—even beneficial! Our goal is to help your dog learn to focus and follow your commands, even in the presence of distractions. We'll guide you through the process. As the class progresses, your dog will improve and become more attentive, even with other dogs nearby.
TRAIN WITH INTENT
Our classes and exercises are carefully designed to improve communication between you and your dog, teaching them how to learn and understand what you expect. It’s not magic to have a dog that walks with you, listens, and is a joy to live with—good canine manners are achievable!
FIRST CLASS
Bring your dog on leash and whatever you usually use—collar, harness,
or face halter.
Bring food rewards for your dog—treats, kibble—we will have some
available too.
Please enter your dog’s vaccination records when you book a class
online, or bring a copy with you to class. We must have proof of vaccinations before your dog enters the classroom.
We’ll be there to greet you, help get you settled, and start making progress.
